Our Coaches
The 2023/24 season sees a group of highly skilled, motivated and experienced coaches to deliver and our professional coaching requirements
As part of the subscription, all junior members will receive coaching. Those juniors not involved in interclub teams will be coached each Saturday throughout the season and will also receive professional coaching after Christmas.
All juniors in interclub teams will receive coaching prior to Christmas as a team. The team coaching will be structured in 1 hour sessions per team commencing early October and finishing prior to Christmas, and recommencing in the new year.
A structured winter coaching programme for interested juniors has been in place over the last couple of seasons and we are planning on doing so again this season. Details will be provided at the end of the summer season.

CREDENTIALS
I am pleased to present my credentials as a highly experienced tennis coach with a focus on elevating the performance of athletes across diverse age groups. Possessing an in-depth understanding of the sport, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment that enables my students to realize their full potential. My coaching journey has included collaboration with some of the top players in New Zealand, and my overarching goal is to assist athletes in reaching their pinnacle.
Noteworthy accolades include the prestigious title of Tennis Canterbury Club Coach of the Year in 2015, followed by four consecutive recognitions as the Tennis Canterbury High-Performance Coach of the Year from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, I was honoured with the Coach of the Year distinction by St. Margaret's College, and the Girls Tennis Team, under my guidance, achieved the esteemed Team of the Year award. The pinnacle of my coaching career came in 2019 when I received the title of New Zealand High-Performance Coach of the Year.
