Welcome to Shirley Tennis Club

We pride ourselves on being a friendly club, offering a range of membership options for both junior and senior players to get involved in the game of tennis. We cater for all abilities including beginners and social players, plus competitive tennis through our affiliation with Canterbury Tennis.  We're proud to have been named Club of the Year for 2019-20 and also awarded the Tennis NZ Community Impact Award for 2024.

Shirley Tennis Club has five synthetic grass courts and four synpave hardcourts. Floodlights are installed on the four hard courts and two synthetic grass courts, allowing for play all year round. Our annual memberships include free access to our courts by booking online via Pay2Play. Non-members can also book a court for a small fee.

Situated next to Richmond Park and located in a thriving residential area, Shirley Tennis Club offers the convenience of easy parking, modern and comfortable clubrooms, and well maintained courts in park-like surroundings. Our members enjoy being part of a social club with plenty of on-court and off-court activities.
