EARTHQUAKE UPDATE
Great news
We have finally received some clarity on our tennis club land, and I am able to confirm that the Club Management Committee has agreed to proceed with replacement of our remaining 4 courts!
We have been fortunate to secure enough funds to be able to replace courts 3 and 4 with new synthetic grass, and courts 1 and 2 will be re-laid as hard courts as they were previously.
Indications from our contractors are that we will be their first job in the New Year, and we anticipate work to start on courts 3 and 4 in late January. The land will be remediated, a new court base created, and then synthetic grass will be laid over a period of 4-6 weeks. Courts 1 and 2 will be re-down after 3 and 4 are completed.
I wish to thank all members for their patience with the Club environment as it stands, but I am sure you will share my excitement at the prospect of getting back to normal ASAP! Wayne
